Honey in Straw

For centuries, honey, nature's original sweetener, has been appreciated for its delicious flavour, disgestibility and healing properties. This honey is harvested and filled into the straws and sealed for the same purpose as the bees sealed in their cells with wax to prevent the honey from deteriorating. Upon opening of each straw, the honey should be consumed immediately to ensure its freshness. Honey can be consumed in several ways. It is best taken from the straws, but it may be dissolved in warm water as a beverage or used as a spread on bread or biscuit.
